RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — With twinkling trees, thousands of bright lights, and familiar faces from the Grinch to Mickey Mouse and Santa, the Nelson’s Christmas Light Show is a labor of love for the community to enjoy.
Silvia Nelson said the display grows bigger every year since they started in 2019. The front lawn is carved into a winter wonderland pathway surrounded by lights and music, then ending in a blast of snow.
“We started with a few inflatables, and then little by little, it kind of exploded into what it is now. Every year, we try to change it up a little bit. We put in a lot of hard work,” Nelson said…
