WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WNCN) — A fire at an apartment complex in the Wake Forest area displaced three families and caused “significant damage” Saturday night, officials said.
The fire was reported around 10:10 p.m. at 9128 Sugar Hollow Lane, which is off Sugar Gap Road near the intersection of Forestville and Rogers roads, according to Raleigh-Wake Emergency Communications Center.
The Wake Forest Fire Department initially responded to the fire, which appeared to be at the Bexley at Heritage apartments.

Wake Forest fire units requested assistance from the Youngsville Fire Department, Northern Wake Fire, Rolesville Fire Department, New Hope Fire, and the Wendell Fire Department.
