‘Wall of orange’: Family discovers fire erupting at North Carolina apartments

WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WNCN) — Multiple families were displaced, and 12 units were impacted by an apartment fire Saturday night in Wake Forest.

The fire broke out around 10 p.m. at the Bexley at Heritage Apartments along Heritage Lake Road just north of the intersection of Forestville and Rogers roads.

Video that surfaced Sunday showed flames along the entire front of the three-story apartment building. The Wake Forest Fire Department said no one was injured but several pets were rescued from various units…
