Man charged with breaking into homes, seriously injuring occupants in Johnston County: Warrant

FOUR OAKS, N.C. (WNCN) — A Wendell man was arrested Wednesday on multiple felony charges in connection with a series of home break-ins in Johnston County that left two people seriously injured, a warrant shows.

According to a warrant filed by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office, 39-year-old Thomas Lee Wright is accused of breaking into two homes in the 2000 block of Devils Racetrack Road in Four Oaks on Wednesday.

During one of the break-ins, according to the warrant, Wright is accused of seriously injuring the two occupants of the home. Both victims were taken to the hospital for treatment…
