North Carolina man robs a bank with explosives and fires at police
A North Carolina truck driver decided it was time for a career change. So he decided to try his luck as a bank robber. He entered a First Citizens Bank in Zebulon and claimed to have C4 explosives.
After getting $3,234 from the teller, he fled the scene in a semi-truck. Rocky Mount Police officers spotted McGee in a parking lot, where surveillance cameras captured him exiting the truck with a gun.
He fired at police officers with a Ruger AR-5.56 rifle, and officers returned fire, striking him. His current condition is unknown. No civilians or officers were injured, and two guns were recovered from the scene…
