New playground opens at Donald ‘Clyde’ Sinclair park in Clayton

CLAYTON, N.C. (WNCN) — A park in Clayton reopened Monday with a new playground, town officials said.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at Donald “Clyde” Sinclair on 400 East Front Street to recognize the completion of a playground upgrade project, according to Town of Clayton officials.

According to town officials, the upgrades include new playground equipment for children from the ages of two to five and the ages of five to 12. There are also updated swings and a new safety surface that replaced a mulch base.
