Freezing temperatures are causing underground problems Friday morning with two water main breaks affecting drivers.
One is in Chapel Hill, while the other is in Cary, where crews worked overnight to repair the line and are now monitoring icy spots.
According to the Orange Water and Sewer Authority, crews have repaired the leaking water line on East Franklin Street near Roosevelt Road. All lanes of E. Franklin Street have reopened.
