DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A Durham man with an “extensive criminal record” for narcotics trafficking was arrested Thursday night on several felony charges after a raid in a home, deputies said.
According to the Durham County Sheriff’s Office, deputies executed a search warrant at a home on Truman Street in the McDougald Terrace neighborhood.
The warrant revealed 37-year-old Leland Lamont Shaw, a convicted felon, was in possession of fentanyl, marijuana, and assorted prescription medications. He also had multiple firearms, including one reported as stolen, and conversion device/switch used to turn a semi-automatic pistol into a fully automatic machine gun, according to the sheriff’s office…
