I never thought I’d read about a fire in Wake County where no humans were harmed, yet a beloved pet didn’t make it. On Tuesday afternoon, a fire broke out in a home on Creedmoor Road, just north of Raleigh, and tragically, one dog lost its life. Firefighters first got the call around 4:49 p.m. and rushed to the scene. When I looked at the images, you could see several emergency vehicles parked outside, engines ready, and firefighters coordinating amid thick smoke.
