CLAYTON — A 49-year-old Clayton man faces multiple charges after he allegedly broke into a home and demanded cigarettes, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office said.
The incident occurred Dec. 24, 2025, on Carmen Lane. Deputies responded to a 911 hang-up call and learned that the suspect, known to the occupants, had entered the home while they were asleep.
