Mediterranean Bowl Concept Expanding to Downtown Raleigh

RALEIGH, NC — Pita Bowl is planning to open its third location in mid-February at 438 Fayetteville St, Raleigh, NC 27601. Business Debut first saw the news in The News & Observer’s report here. Owner Omar Dakdouk told Business Debut the downtown outpost will be a grab-and-go format with light renovations underway.

What to Expect

Dakdouk told Business Debut the Fayetteville Street shop is a small, roughly 1,000-square-foot space designed for takeaway. Dakdouk said the shop sits near City Plaza and the Raleigh Convention Center, positioning it for downtown foot traffic during festivals and major events, as well as location business traffic.

Menu and Vision

Pita Bowl’s concept centers on build-your-own Mediterranean bowls and wraps, with customization as the core of the experience. “Your bowl, your rules,” Dakdouk told Business Debut, describing an approach designed to accommodate preferences.

Guests can build bowls with bases including basmati rice, lettuce, chickpeas or french fries, then add proteins such as shaved lamb, char-grilled chicken, chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, jerk chicken, steak, chimichurri grilled steak or falafel.
