CLAYTON — The Town of Clayton is inviting residents to participate in its fiscal year 2027 budget prioritization survey. The survey is part of the town’s ongoing effort to create a transparent, community-driven budget that reflects the needs and priorities of local residents.
Creating the town’s operating budget is a year-round process involving the mayor, the town council and town staff, as well as the community. The budget supports local government operations, public services and quality-of-life initiatives throughout Clayton.
The budgeting process requires careful consideration of many factors, including service levels, community needs, maintenance requirements and revenue sources such as property taxes, grants and fees.
