GARNER, N.C. (WNCN) — Troopers said alcohol and speed were factors in a fatal crash early Sunday morning on I-40 in Garner.
An alert from the North Carolina Department of Transportation notified drivers around 2:20 a.m. that a crash occurred on Interstate 40 East near the Jones Sausage Road exit.
