GARNER, N.C. (WNCN) — The Garner Police Department is warning homeowners about a ding-dong ditch prank that’s turned threatening and destructive.
The prank has mostly targeted homes in south Garner’s Oak Manor neighborhood, where cameras have caught people not only ringing the doorbell and running off, but also damaging property and yelling racial slurs.
One video shows suspects kicking a garage door just after midnight at a house on Squirrel Oaks Lane. According to homeowners, that’s not the first time that’s happened…
