Photos: ‘Known drug trafficker’ charged in North Carolina fentanyl raid

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — Less than a week after Durham County deputies arrested a man after finding more than 4 kilograms of fentanyl in a Durham home raid, another search of another home led to another arrest on fentanyl charges, officials said.

The first raid happened Thursday, Feb. 5, when deputies executed a search warrant at a Newland Place home, according to a Durham County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Rodney William Ephraim, 49, was arrested on several drug charges after deputies uncovered heroin, cocaine, 4.6 kilograms of fentanyl, and six firearms, including two rifles, deputies said…
