RALEIGH, N.C. — Ryan Hampton, the No. 5 overall prospect in the class of 2027, has scheduled four official visits for March. He’ll open his visit calendar with NC State on March 2, as the Wolfpack host the Duke Blue Devils. Dushawn London of 247Sports was first to report the visits on Tuesday afternoon.
NC State extended an offer to Hampton back in June of 2025 and now will get him in the building for one of the biggest atmospheres of the season. 247Sports has the 6-foot-6, 190 pound junior ranked as the No. 5 overall prospect in the nation, No. 3 player in the state of Florida and the No. 1 small forward in the class of 2027.
On the court, Hampton’s performance back in December at Grind Session Dallas, a nationally recognized high school basketball league, reinforced why he’s one of the top juniors in the country. Hampton dropped 28 points and grabbed seven rebounds, in his first game of the tournament. Showcasing an offensive game that can strike from the mid-range, behind the arc and in transition.
