A cold front moving in late this weekend may set the stage for a potential “wintry mix” in the Triangle early next week.
“We may get anywhere from between high and dry and cold to maybe a cold rain to maybe a period of some sleet and even ending in some freezing rain,” said Aaron Swiggett, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service, Friday morning. “But as least as far as Raleigh is concerned, I’d say the probability of that chance is probably pretty low.”
