RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Search warrants in the deadly stabbing of a man in Raleigh last October show a possible motive for the suspect.
The Raleigh Police Department filed the search warrants after they said they found 63-year-old Richard Hauser dead from stab wounds at his home in the 1200 block of Pender Street just before 11 a.m. on Oct. 14, 2025.
Reginald Perry, 69, was identified as the suspect and arrested the following day. He is charged with murder, according to Raleigh police.
According to the search warrants, Hauser’s family told police that he was dating a married man later identified as Perry. Two weeks before his murder, Hauser informed his family that he would tell Perry’s wife about the affair…
