‘Devastating’: Fire damages Helping Hand Mission in Raleigh

A fire Sunday morning damaged the office and storage facility of Helping Hand Mission, a nonprofit that has served the Raleigh community for over 50 years.

Around 6:30 a.m., Raleigh fire crews were called to the building on Rock Quarry Road. Officials reported no injuries, but the organization’s primary operations space sustained significant damage.
