Bicyclist killed in crash with vehicle at North Raleigh intersection, police say

Police are investigating after a bicyclist was killed in a crash at a North Raleigh intersection Thursday night.

Officers were called to the intersection of Lead Mine and Lynn roads near Lynn Road Elementary School in North Raleigh about 7:15 p.m. after a vehicle struck 65-year-old Elijah Cooper, according to a Tuesday news release from the Raleigh police department.
