NORTH CAROLINA — A tractor-trailer crash caused major traffic disruptions in Raleigh early Wednesday morning after an 18-wheeler overturned near a busy interstate ramp.
The crash was reported around 7 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Wade Avenue at the Interstate 440 ramp.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the overturned tractor-trailer forced the closure of both ramps from Wade Avenue to Interstate 440 and Interstate 40. Officials said the closures are expected to remain in place for most of the day as crews work to clear the scene…
