Wake County Public School System working to ban Epstein-related game from campuses

CARY, N.C. (WNCN) — It’s game over for Wake County students playing a controversial game related to Jeffrey Epstein on school grounds.

“Five Nights at Epstein’s” places gamers on an island connected to Epstein, a financier who was charged with sex trafficking before his death in custody in 2019. Players must survive five levels for an allotted period of time against Epstein, President Donald Trump, and scientist Stephen Hawking.

The game is free and playable on web browsers. Students are able to access “Five Nights at Epstein’s” without installing it on school computers, allowing them to bypass security alerts that would be otherwise triggered.

According to Wake County Public School System officials, the district has received two recent support tickets related to the game. One report has been resolved and the website hosting the game has been blocked on devices managed by the district…
