Wildlife Resources Commission seeking public comment on proposed sheepshead fishing limit changes

RALEIGH, N.C. (WECT) – The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission (NCWRC) is seeking public comments on a proposed temporary rule amendment for sheepshead fishing in inland fishing waters and joint fishing waters.

The amendment would decrease the daily creel limit from 10 to five fish and increase the minimum size from 10 to 14 inches for hook-and-line fishing.
