A Wake County deputy was taken to a hospital after he was hit by a car on Friday afternoon.
The incident started about 2:20 p.m. in the 4000 block of Jones Sausage Road in Garner near Integrity Court. That’s right off I-40 south in Raleigh
A worker at the nearby Sheetz convenience store told ABC11 that the incident may have started as an altercation inside the store.
