Durham police are investigating after a man was fatally stabbed Monday afternoon on the American Tobacco Trail.
Officers were called to a part of the trail near Fayetteville and Pilot streets about 4:15 p.m., according to a Durham Police Department news release. Radio traffic shows the victim called to report he’d been stabbed in the back.
