RALEIGH — Gov. Josh Stein on Thursday announced appointments to several North Carolina boards and commissions, including members from Wayne, Harnett and Wake counties.

Dr. Jessie L. Tucker III was appointed to the North Carolina State Health Coordinating Council as a representative of hospitals. Tucker is president and CEO of UNC Health Wayne in Goldsboro.
