Clayton officers Ekoule, Backey complete executive training

RALEIGH — Sgt. Komivi Ekoule and Sgt. Jared Backey of the Clayton Police Department graduated Wednesday from North Carolina State University’s Law Enforcement Executive Program.

LEEP is a six-month program that develops proactive leadership skills for law enforcement executives, helping them manage current and future challenges effectively. The curriculum covers public management techniques as they apply to law enforcement agencies and emphasizes the personal skills needed to excel in executive roles.
