SMITHFIELD — A Johnston County jury has convicted a 39-year-old man in connection with a shooting into an occupied vehicle and a subsequent high-speed chase, according to the district attorney’s office.
Murad Terrall Taylor was found guilty March 13 of discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle in operation, felony fleeing to elude arrest in a motor vehicle and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
