RALEIGH, N.C. β Over the past few weeks, the law enforcement community has lost three officers.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol’s Master Trooper Stien Davis Jr. and Master Trooper Steven J. Perry, and Forsyth County Deputy Kaleb M. Mitchell died in car crashes over two weeks. With these losses and other recent tragedies, Wake County Sheriff Willie Rowe says agencies like his need to focus on mental health for community members and for deputies who work there.
