The Wake Forest Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department is preparing its annual Memorial Day Remembrance Walls of Honor, which will be displayed throughout May at E. Carroll Joyner Park, Alston-Massenburg Center, and Flaherty Park. Each wall will feature the names of up to 500 veterans, honoring both living and deceased service members.
Residents can submit a veteran’s name and military branch for inclusion at no cost through Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Names from previous years will automatically be included again, so there’s no need to resubmit them…
