Raleigh Police have arrested a man on charges that he impersonated a law enforcement officer, and court records reveal that he has been charged with the same crime in Wake County at least seven other times dating to 2015.
Police said that in the recent case, his actions led to unwanted sexual contact.
Raleigh Police said they got a report of 33-year-old Meredith Cromartie conducting a fake traffic stop last Thursday.
