Apex’s $100 Million Veridea Crossing Poised To Be West Wake’s New Retail Hub

A $100 million retail district called Veridea Crossing is taking shape inside the sprawling Veridea master-planned community in Apex. The new district is expected to total roughly 220,000 square feet and will house restaurants, fitness studios, personal-care services and a grocery anchor. Early renderings show a tree-lined main street and a central plaza framed by low-rise storefronts and surface parking. The retail core will sit alongside planned housing, a Wake Tech campus and the future NC Children’s Health campus that together form the larger Veridea neighborhood.

According to Triangle Business Journal, the district is budgeted at about $100 million and will total roughly 220,000 square feet, with the story crediting the renderings to Past Forward Design.
