Niece accused of shooting her uncle on Easter in North Carolina

WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WNCN) — Officers arrested a Raleigh city transportation department employee who is also the former Wake Forest town public works director after her uncle was injured in a shooting early Easter Sunday afternoon in Wake Forest, according to officials, along with town and city public information.

A spokesperson with the Town of Wake Forest told CBS 17 that police responded to a shooting call around 12:50 p.m. on the 9300 block of Perini Court.
