CASPER, Wyo. — After establishing herself as one of Wyoming’s top high school swimmers, Kelly Walsh High School’s Kiersten Lamb is ready to dive into the next level of competition after signing with William Peace University in North Carolina.
Like many children, Lamb developed a fast love of swimming at a young age after taking lessons with the Casper Swim Club. Unlike many other children, though, she channeled that love into a competitive passion.
“It was probably around fifth grade or the start of middle school that I started racing against my peers and really fell in love with that aspect of it,” she said. “I already loved swimming and being in the water, but that really took it to another level.”…
