GREENSBORO, N.C. — The North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement Division (ALE), with assistance from the Greensboro Police Department, executed four search warrants Sunday morning as part of a long-term investigation into alleged illegal drug and alcohol activity tied to multiple Greensboro businesses.
The investigation began in fall 2025 after ALE received citizen complaints involving Pura Vida Cocktail Bar and Restaurant at 221 S. Elm St. in Greensboro. Special agents say the investigation uncovered employees and patrons allegedly involved in the sale and trafficking of illegal drugs during business operations and at other locations.
ALE also identified alleged illegal alcohol sales at a separate location at 3123 Cedar Park Road, Unit B, which investigators say was operating without ABC permits.
Authorities said agents seized more than 172 grams of cocaine, more than 25 grams of methamphetamine, two firearms, over $10,000 in cash, drug paraphernalia and non-tax-paid alcohol during the investigation…
