Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools cancels class due to massive teachers rally in Raleigh

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools announced it is canceling classes next Friday due to a massive teachers rally in Raleigh.

The school board voted unanimously on Friday, April 24, to add a teacher workday on Friday, May 1, so district staff who requested leave can attend the “Kids Over Corporations” rally.
