Video: Kids caught throwing rocks at home, cars in North Carolina

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Tonight, Raleigh community leaders are stepping up outreach efforts to help turn around kids caught on camera violently vandalizing homes and cars in the Lions Park neighborhood and shattering peace of mind.

“I understand that these are just kids from the area that are, you know, engaged in some mischief,” a man who wants to remain anonymous said.

Neighbors say some 10 to 15 kids, ranging in age from four to 12 years old, have been throwing rocks and bricks through glass windows and doors on houses and cars for months.

Owners say the damage has climbed into the tens of thousands of dollars.

And although there have been no reports of anyone physically hurt in these rock attacks, there have been close calls, including a too-close-for-comfort miss on one grandfather’s baby grandson…
