Churp, a new fast-casual bowl concept from Raleigh restaurateur Tyler Helikson, is gearing up to open at Olde Raleigh Village on Edwards Mill Road this summer. The shop will focus on build-your-own bowls and a dedicated, bento-style kids menu designed to make healthier choices feel easier for families. Helikson says the team chose a busy neighborhood center to meet everyday shoppers and families where they already are.
According to WhatNow Charlotte, Helikson described Churp as a brand built to “make healthy eating feel accessible and easy for families,” and the Olde Raleigh Village location is targeting a late-summer to early-fall opening. The outlet reports that Churp will feature customizable bowls and a bento-style kids menu meant to keep younger diners engaged.
What to Expect From Churp
Helikson, who co-founded Happy + Hale, has built a local reputation for health-forward fast-casual concepts with several locations across the Triangle. The Churp unit is set to occupy a small restaurant pad inside Olde Raleigh Village, which lists its Edwards Mill Road address and leasing details on the center’s site.
