RENO, Nev. (KOLO) -The Reno 4th on the Fourth America 250 parade is getting a financial boost from a pair of brothers with deep local ties.
Alex and Orlando De Castroverde, Reno natives, donated $15,000 to help cover gaps in the City of Reno’s parade budget. Organizers say most of the money will go toward public safety and staffing to support the large crowds expected for the holiday event.
The De Castroverdes say celebrating America’s 250th anniversary is too important to risk the parade falling short…
