LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The US 95 heading to Reno is closed near Hawthorne due to flash flooding Thursday evening, the Nevada Department of Transportation says.
NDOT says US 95 is closed just south of Hawthorne. State Route 447 is also closed near Valley Road.
Officials say drivers can check NVRoads.com for highway updates. NDOT says drivers should avoid unnecessary travel in active weather and not drive across flooded roadways…
