Sparks City Council denies amendment to proposed Wingfield Springs development plan

SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) – The Sparks City Council has voted to deny an amendment to a proposed development in in the Wingfield Springs area. The decision came following a public hearing at Monday’s Council meeting.

The amendment to the final plan would have changed the land use designation of the 34.75-acre site at Vista Boulevard and Black Hills Drive from Open Use to Builder Lot to add 158 residential lots to the development. The panned Foothills at Wingfield Springs would consist of 690 acres and bring more than 2,200 homes to the area…
