RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – A Smith’s grocery store in Reno is set to resume normal operations Wednesday after being cleared under current county evacuation orders.
The store, located at 175 Lemmon Drive, will open from 6 a.m. to midnight starting Wednesday, August 26, 2026. The store’s pharmacy and fuel center will also reopen Wednesday, while grocery pickup services are scheduled to resume on Thursday, August 27.
Essential Services Resume
The reopening has received support from the Mayor of Reno, who emphasized the store’s role as an essential business providing food and everyday necessities to residents affected by the Hawk Fire.
