RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Northern Nevada Public Health has declared a local public health emergency after the Bug, Stallion and Hawk Fires.
Health officials say the ash, debris and hazardous materials at destroyed or damaged properties pose a serious health risk should they be handled or removed.
Residents are being asked to refrain from moving debris at this time over safety concerns and to contact their insurance company if possible…
