City of Reno seeks input on West Wash Dam rehabilitation

The City of Reno is holding a public meeting next week to discuss plans to rehabilitate the West Wash Dam in northwest Reno.

The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Reno City Hall Council Chambers. Residents can also participate virtually.

According to the city, the West Wash Dam is part of the Peavine Mountain Watershed and helps protect about 30,000 people who live and work downstream from flooding…
