Regional authorities are investigating after Elko Police officers shot and killed a man early Wednesday evening. Elko Police say the incident started around 5 p.m. when an officer heard a woman being hit – when he tried to intervene, the suspect pushed the victim from a car and a pursuit ensued after nearly hitting the officer with the car.
