Tribal Administrator-Reno-Sparks Indian Colony

Reno-Sparks Indian Colony is accepting applications for a Tribal Administrator. This position is responsible for providing oversight and direction of the daily operations of assigned tribal departments and programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Business or Public Administration with at least five (5) years as an administrator of equal level and responsibility as described above or a Bachelor’s degree with at least seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the management of multiple departments and functions related to the administration of programs, policies, procedures, and budgets;

Knowledge of and experience in the administration of federal and/or tribal laws, regulations, and guidelines;

Minimum three (3) years of prior management experience involving the interviewing, hiring, training, mentoring, and evaluating of personnel;

Knowledge of government fund accounting procedures as evidenced by experience in the public sector or tribal government;
