Fans of a certain popular grocery store chain will have another option for satisfying their Trader Joe’s fix in Reno.
Trader Joe’s confirmed that it is further expanding its footprint in the Biggest Little City.
“I can confirm that we have plans to open a new store in Reno,” said Trader Joe’s spokesperson Nakia Rohde when reached by the Reno Gazette Journal on Friday.
The new store will be the third location in the area. Trader Joe’s has a longtime store at 5035 S. McCarran Blvd. in Reno and another location in Carson City.
Where will the new Reno Trader Joe’s store be located?
Asked whether the new Trader Joe’s will be taking over the former Orvis store location at the Summit Reno mall in south Reno, the company responded that it did not have additional details to share about the location of its new Reno grocery store at this time.
The Reno Gazette Journal also reached out to the Summit Reno mall about the former Orvis location and what new business was entering the space.
