With championships on the horizon, some of Northern Nevada’s top girls wrestlers are gearing up for state titles.
In Nevada girls wrestling, there are no classes; all the girls compete against each other at Regional and state regardless of the size of the school they attend.
The Northern Nevada girls wrestling invitational is Feb. 2-3 at Reed High School in Sparks. The girls state invitational is Feb. 16 in Bullhead City, Arizona.
Reed won both the Northern Invitational and the state girls wrestling title last year.
