Man sentenced to life for intentionally deadly hit-and-run outside Reno homeless shelter

RENO, Nev. (KRNV) – The man who ran over three women, killing one, has been sentenced to life without parole. 58-year-old David Turner previously pled guilty to all counts in September 2023. He was charged for the April 2023 hit and run of Michelle Jardine, Clarissa Roman and Christina Roman near the Cares Campus. Turner admitted to intentionally driving his jeep into a group of people, with the intent of killing as many as possible so he could return to prison.
