RENO, Nev. (KOLO) -On Feb. 3, 2022, at 4 a.m. emergency personnel respond to a car fire on Interstate 580 south of Reno south of the Mount Rose Highway. No one was prepared for what they would find when the flames were extinguished. In the trunk was the body of a young woman later identified as 23-year-old Anna Scott, mother of two and member of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe. She’d been shot, apparently dead when placed in the vehicle.
